Piran private tour
A Mediterranean gem where Slovenia meets the sea.
Piran is a medieval town on a peninsula with Venetian houses, narrow streets and a square named after the composer Giuseppe Tartini. From the town walls the view opens over the Adriatic and, on clear days, all the way to the Alps, while nearby salt pans still produce salt the way they did centuries ago.

How the day works
Pick-up in Ljubljana, at the airport or your hotel, a drive to the coast, a guided walk through Piran, free time for a swim or a coffee by the sea, and an optional stop in Portorož or Izola. Usually 7–9 hours.

I know when the lanes are quiet, where to park in summer and which restaurants serve fresh local fish. I also take a few photos for you along the way.

Reach Piran by bus from Ljubljana (about 2 h 30 min). By car, park in the Fornače garage and continue on foot or by local shuttle bus.
